a bit about me
Live in Yorkshire with my 2 darling children, two cats, hubbie and rabbit. Try each year to introduce the idea that having a dog would be a good idea but hubbie looks at me as though I am mad.
Love to read, watch movies, take lots of photographs, write poetry, play with the kids, walks in the park and listen to lots of music.
Was first introduced to Kate via the car radio on my way to school aged about 11, fell madly in love with Wuthering Heights and the rest is history. Have been in the KBC since its beginning and have loved Kate and her work so much.
Have made so many lovely friends on here and am lucky enough to have met a lot of them in 'real life'!!!!
Am a bit of a 'fretter' as the wonderful Artylad once said and am known to worry about things years before they actually happen.

things I like to listen to
well of course I love listening to Kate Bush and have done for the past 30 years, the lady never ceases to amaze me with her
genius.
I also love to hear the beautiful music of Nick Drake who has managed to make me cry so many tears over the past many years with his heartbreaking music, the
man was a genius and Im so priviledged to have been able to hear his wonderful work.
Melanie Safka has been a favourite since my teens and to meet her at last and to hear her play live this year was a dream come true, she is an incredible lady
and has an amazing spirituality about her.
Other people who have made me very happy with their beautiful noises are, Donovan, Peter Gabriel, Vashti Bunyon,Genesis, Happy Rhodes, Colin Lloyd Tucker, Marc
Bolan,Tori Amos, Rachel Portman, Kyla Clay Fox, Jacqueline du pre, Led Zep, Pink Floyd, Seth Lakeman and Julian Cope.
Thanks to Adric, I was recently introduced to the music of Jacob Golden, Jacob now is a firm favourite of mine and I listen to him nearly every day. His album,
Revenge Songs is in my all time favourite albums and is a true classic, wonderful, wonderful stuff.

Nice to hear from you on my Pennine Way thread. Hope you are keeping well.
We went through Gargrave on a very, very wet day and it was one of the highlights. Just caught the Dalesman Cafe before it shut for the day and bought a cup of tea and three bags of sweets to cheer ourselves up. It was day 5 and hadn't really stopped raining for most of them. We were beginning to lose heart. Came through in the end. But we had to pull ourselves together a lot.

I just saw your reply to someone, asking if they could guess who you were. I don't know whether you were talking about your current avatar. Funnily enough, that's the reason I dropped by - to ask you what your cool avatar is. I saw the very same picture today on Facebook, used by a friend of a friend. For a moment I wondered if it was you, but unless you're really a Spanish guy called Jose something-or-other, it wasn't.

how are Kate and Dan?? hope there are all doing well and that your in good spirits too...
iam now 30 weeks!!! iam on my last trymester and i feel Isabella kicking!!!wow ouch.. hahah it so diffrent ... she like o move a lot i am know doing baby kicks counts .. and she likes to move a lots .. mostly when iam laying down... she starts to move or dance in my womb., hahah i have her bedroom painted pink and licac and new carpet light pink.. i made curtins pink little roses . and some white funture ... i am still havnt gotten a cribe yet .. and all that alll so much to do so very little time ...i love just siting in the baby nusrey room and just day dream what it be like .. Joe and i just complete our baby parent class at the salem hospital .. that was so much help for us .. for me it put a lot of unexpeaied fears that i had down.. like ( C) cetions ahhhhh...
but now knowing its not a huge deal at all ... it is the fear of the unkwon i guess that get us all. but now i have a fearm grip and i belive i can handle almost anything ...
we are so very excited .. soom my sister and mother are plaining my baby shower .. i hope you didnt mind that added to you my guest list...
on a sad note .. iamvery sadden by kates father ... passed on ... the strange thing s that the week before that we heard ,, i was playing " the fog" and how much i thought ow sweet kates son get to know is grandfather and he such kind sounding dad ..
but now he with glory with kates mother .. wch is lovely thought indeed ...
what have you been doing lately ???and family hoildays trips ??? i love that lake distraick that you when to ,.. i never heard of it untill you said aomething about it .. that is so lovely .. i love that film miss potter...
